Wine of the Month - July 2010
Sprucewood Shores Riesling 2009 Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery has been on a roll lately with their new releases. Three fanastic Chardonnay's, one barrel fermented, one with a little bit of oak and the third with no oak at all. With all the chardonnays going on their Riesling could easily be overlook but you will be missing a real treat if you do. Excellent value paired with a fanastic Riesling make this a great summer time choice. Looking for a refreshing summer time sipper? This is it. It's light enough to sip on, lots of tree fruit such as peach and lemon followed by a wonderful mineral backbone to make this one the most complete, complex and balanced Rieslings sold in Essex County. Gamay / Chambourcin, med dry
Winemaker’s Notes:
She’s back and she’s better than ever! Ruby Tuesday is definitely our wine of choice for weddings and large events. Ruby Tuesday’s youthful gamay is balanced nicely with the touch of tannins from her Chambourcin side. From nose to finish, Ruby Tuesday is a crowd pleaser through and through.

Log House Red — Our first red wine, Log House Red is a smooth blend of Gamay and Zwiegelt Grapes. It is a light crisp wine that makes it the perfect complement to beef or fine cheese.
