Winemaker’s Notes:
A Rose made in the traditional manner – red Chambourcin grapes rested on their skins for a short time after hand-picking, then pressed and fermented off the skins. Just slightly sweet, Ridge Rock is a brilliant cranberry colour and carried just a suggestion of cranberries and almonds on the palate.
Pleasant Pairings: Poultry and pork dishes are enhanced by our rose, and it makes for a lovely lunch partner. Also a nice accompaniment to paté and French bread in the picnic basket.

Winemaker’s Notes:
This wine combines the characteristics of dried berry fruit and light cherry notes with fine tannins and vanilla aromas.
The Chambourcin grapes used for this wine were left on the vine until they had reached 20.8 brix, and the Cabernet Franc grapes were harvested at 21.2 brix.
A great wine to be enjoyed with friends around the dinner table.

Winemaker’s Notes:
Aleksander Estate Winery and Vineyards is nestled atop one of the highest points of Essex County. Sandy loam soils rest above a foundation of gravel allowing for both good natural drainage and vine protection. The family estate winery is home to multiple national award winning wines. Enjoy these wine as much as we have enjoyed making them.
The Chambourcin is a medium-bodied drry red wine with aromas of bright red fruit. Cranberry an red currents continuing with the flavours of sweet cherry lasting well past the swallow.
Food Pairings:
This fruit forward red heightens the experience with all foods. Enjoy with chicken dishes, roast beef and mushrooms, pasta in tomato sauce and yes, pizza.

Winemaker’s Notes:
Best served well chilled, this wine is an agreeable companion to spicy or barbecued foods. It is also a beautiful wine to drink on its own on a hot summer day.
Our Pelee Pink is a popular choice during those warm summer months. This wine has been cool fermented (18 degrees celsius) to maximize its fruit flavours.
