This wine is all about place. Coming from Canada’s southernmost region, where the unique climate infuses warmth and richness into every sip. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Petit Verdot, this wine’s fresh red berry fruit, spice and soft tannins make it an easy-drinking and crowd-pleasing choice. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2014)

Aromas of nectarines, yellow apple and plum, with a gently floral note. Gently kissed by sweetness, this is ripe and quite attractive in the mouth. The palate is flavour-packed, far more so than the nose. A delightful wine, from a largely unknown grape. This will impress with a paprika spiced chicken, or pad Thai. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2013)

      Fri 9, Mar. 12
      1 Reviews

      4.67 overall score

      Winemaker’s Notes:
      Essex region Cabernet Franc

      Aroma: Refined, elegant mocha
Palate: Follows the nose, intense dark cherry fruit & a long lasting finish.

Warmer than average summer & fall with an average rainfall which produced fuller bodied wines. A reserve quality year. 2007 vintage has excellent prospects to produce high quality wine. With the long warm season, wines made from grapes that benefit from longer ripening times should show particularly well.
