This full-bodied Syrah was made from grapes that were hand-harvested exclusively from our vineyards. Aged twelve months in French oak this wine is a hearty red wine with a smooth texture and smooth tannins. This wine exhibits characteristics of dark berries and raisons. Enjoy with barbecued ribs, rack of lamb or steak.

Winemaker’s Notes:
There are conflicting reports over the internet who invented the Vidal Blanc variety. Some say it was John Louis Vidal and others say it was one of the commercially-successful hybrid products of prolific French hybridizer Albert Seibel. What is certain is that it is a cross of viniferia Ugni Blanc (Trebbiano) and an early French American hybrid Rayon d’Or (Seibel 4986). This first ever Vidal Blanc from Muscedere Vineyards is a light, clean, crisp white wine. This wine ehibits hints of citrus fruit and passion fruit. Enjoy with a summer salad on the patio or on its own as a cocktail wine.

Winemaker’s Notes:
This 2009 Riesling is made in the style as past Rieslings from Muscedere. We whole berry press our Riesling grapes, creating a light-bodied, clean, crisp, refreshing white wine with a hint of residual sweetness. An excellent sipping wine for the deck or poolside.

Pairs well with appetizers, salads and spicy foods. Serve slightly chilled.

Winemaker’s Notes:
Our 2009 Rosé comes on the heals of our 2008 that was very popular for its drier characteristics. Like the 2008 it is made in a Southern French style where Rosé is not very sweet. Enjoy chilled on the patio or by the pool.

To make our Rosé we use grapes from our vineyard we use grapes that have been exposed to limited skin contact which gives the wine its light red colour. Made in our traditional style with a hint of residual sugar, this Rosé can be enjoyed in the summer sun as a sipping wine and with light hors d’oeuvres or salads.

Our fourth Cabernet Franc release. This medium-bodied wine exhibits an aromatic nose of dark fruits. Twelve months of aging in French oak barrels has harmonized fruit, acidity, and tannins into a well-rounded taste with added depth and complexity.
