Like the ’07 Vidal but a dry Vidal that is a refreshing wine. It is citrus to lemon. Light to Medium bodied, clean finish.

Pleasant floral-citrus bouquet. This one excels on a hot Essex County day! Great with appetizers, an aperitif, seafood, shell fish, white meats, pates, fruits and cheese.

Winemaker’s Notes:
We’re thrilled to have our newest, and very popular new Summer Sun Cabernet now available. Summer Sun is a chilled red wine made of 100% Cabernet Franc, made with only minimal skin contact. The result is a delicate salmon coloured wine with a vibrant citrus nose with pronounced lime, fresh grapefruit with a dusting of sugar on the palate. It is matched with grilled vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, sole, oyster, snapper, salmon, quiche, burgers, ribs and hot spicy foods.

LCBO Staff Pick, Wine of the Month, and just perfect for a hot summer’s day.

Nature gives us such a great Erie Shore Riesling. 2007 is apple and red grapefruit flavours, pear and peach with a pleasant fruity, clean finish. Winemaker’s Notes:
This has really been popular since it’s July release. Made from 2008 red grapes, our new Erie Shore Red is soft, smooth, and wonderfully fruit forward, deep red wine, low in tannins, and unoaked. Ripe berries, cherry, currant and more. Matched with grilled white & red meats, cheeses….

Erie Shore Cabernet Franc Reserve 2007 Review

    5.00 overall score

    Winemaker’s Notes:
The great 2007 vintage, but a reserve aged in French Oak for 18 months. Like the 05 Reserve, this one is selling quickly at this great price.

The Bordeaux variety is particularly well suited to Essex County with our long and warm summers that continue into the fall. The result is a rich full flavoured red wine which has been gently aged in French oak barrels.

    Winemaker’s Notes:
The Erie Shore Vineyard has had 3 vintage red years in the past 4 years. The 2008 may be the best yet. We think that you will hear a lot about this deep, dark, and delicious red wine. This will be a treasure in your wine cellar. Like the 2007, but … you’ll just have to taste it! Great colour, flavour and structure! Matched with grilled or roast red meats, lamb, dark poultry, pizza, tomato based pastas, cheeses, and dark chocolate
