Aleksander Estate Winery and Vineyards is nestled atop one of the highest points of Essex County. Sandy loam soils rest above a foundation of gravel allowing for both good natural drainage and vine protection. The family estate winery is home to multiple national award winning wines. The Chambourcin is a medium-bodied drry red wine with aromas of bright red fruit. Cranberry an red currents continuing with the flavours of sweet cherry lasting well past the swallow.
