Pelee Island Lighthouse Cabernet Franc 2009 Review
Winemaker’s Notes:
You will find very ripe, plumy-sweet flavours and richness in this wine. It has a rustic character. Some would also call it a bistro style,”elbows- on-the-table” wine. Great with stews, red meat or tomato-based dishes.

Rate and review Pelee Island Lighthouse Cabernet Franc 2009

This is the second vintage of Pelee Inland Winery’s “Lighthouse” Cabernet Franc. This one show a bit more complexity on the palate.
Youthful dark red cherry colour. Nose offers plums, cherry, bell pepper and smoky notes.
Taste echoes the nose. A hint of sweetness, light tannins, big acidity, make this a food friendly wine.
Great with soft cheeses, burgers, pizza, a real work horse wine to have on hand for any occasion. Drink now.
