I often overlook fruit wines or wines blended with fruit wines. I would have missed something if I had not tried this wine.
It’s an easy going, simply wine that is very tasty. There is a level of sweetness that makes it a bit more like candy than wine but there is nothing wrong with that. Makes it a nice sipper or pairing with a cheese and cracker tray.
Nose shows a lot of the black current fruit. It is very inviting.
Taste also shows that black current fruit, it is sweet (probably from the vidal blending).
An easy, simple wine that is sure to please. Give this one a try.
