Winemaker’s Notes:
A crisp pear nose leads into a surprisingly smooth and delicately sweet mouth-feel. The taste is reminiscent of mandarin oranges while the balanced acids result in a clean finish, with lingering pecan.

A very crisp Riesling with a lot of citrus working the palate.
I was very happy to see this wine was VQA Lake Erie North Shore. Their last vintage Riesling (2007) was VQA Ontario, produced from grapes grown in another wine region of Ontario. Not that there is anything wrong with this, it’s just nice sipping on a wine where you know the grapes are from Lake Erie, North Shore.
Lemon and grapefruit dominate the nose and palate. Lots of acidity for a crisp, clean, and lingering mouth watering finish. There is even some mineral back bone to this wine for added complexity.
Just chill and serve. Great to sip on especially on a hot summer day or paired with some broiled white fish.
