Winemaker’s Notes:
This 2009 Riesling is made in the style as past Rieslings from Muscedere. We whole berry press our Riesling grapes, creating a light-bodied, clean, crisp, refreshing white wine with a hint of residual sweetness. An excellent sipping wine for the deck or poolside.

Pairs well with appetizers, salads and spicy foods. Serve slightly chilled.

From vintage to vintage Muscedere Vineyard’s rieslings remain fairly consistant in quality and taste. Always very good to excellent. Their 2009 riesling is no exception.

Floral, citrus and honey aromas are noted shortly after uncorking this wine.

The initial attack on the taste buds is tropical fruit and tangy citrus flavours. Not a lot of mineral but it is there.

Good crisp clean acidity, light to medium body and a finish that lingers show in this well made wine.

It is nicely balanced and offers good value at $16.

Chill and serve as a sipper.

Nearly colorless with aromas of citrus and green apple, this wine is an interesting combination of sweet and dry on the palate with a flavor profile similar to that of freshly squeezed lemonade. The finish is a bit astringent, but in a pleasing way.
