Winemaker’s Notes:
Inspired by the Summer Sun, we released the second vintage of the Sellar Secret. Cobalt Blue bottle. Another popular chilled summer red wine made of 100% Chambourcin, “off the skins”. Red grapefruit, strawberry, mango, many tropical fruit flavours. Wonderful with summer foods, and appetizers, grilled vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, sole, salmon, turkey, white meats.

This wine reminds me of a spiked “Tropical Fruit Punch”. Semi sweet taste of strawberry, cherry and some citrus zing. It’s a light wine that packs a lot of fruit punch into every sip.
It’s not complex by any means, simple and easy, refreshing is what makes this wine perfect for a hot summer day.
No need to worry about pairing this wine. Bring it to the cottage, or sip on it on the porch on a hot summer day and all will be good.
I wonder what a wine like this would taste with a little fizz to it??? Sellar Secret Spritz has a nice ring to it.
