Winemaker’s Notes:
Sauvignon Blanc is a relatively new variety to the Island (planted in 1994), shows it’s typical grassy, herbaceous and green fruit aromas. This is a wine that is very cool fermented, which brings out citrus flavours that linger on the finish.

Tasted June, 2010. This wine may have already peaked and if you have any of this wine it has entered the better open soon stage. DRINK IT NOW!
A lot of the wine’s character is starting to fade a little but for the price it is still a good wine with a fairly lengthy finish.
Nose is a little shy. I tried warming my glass up, a good swirl and still not a lot was offered up. Somewhat earthy, herbaceous nose. Mineral and herbaceous. Any fruit took a back seat and seemed to have faded. Good acidity saved this wine.
It’s a wine I wish I had tried about a year ago.
