A very interesting Sauvignon Blanc. Not typical or what one might expect from this variety. No grassy, herbaceous notes but very good none the less.
I found it difficult to decribe and couldn’t put my finger on it. It wasn’t until I read the wine makers notes that I figured out what I was smelling and tasting. Green tea, yes indeed that was it.
Fine, lively acidity, and a hint of mineral for good balance. A nice sipper. Just chill and serve.
TOTALLY AGREE! WE LOVE THIS WINE. IT IS SO YUMMY. WE OPENED A BOTTLE OF THIS WINE ON THE WEEKEND AND SHARED IT WITH FRIENDS.
Unconventional Sauvignon Blanc. Lacked any of the basic characteristics that Sauvignon Blanc is known for. May explain why this wine is not VQA’d. Despite this, it was a good wine showing good balance and finish.
