Winemaker’s Notes:
Eco Trail is a blend of Auxerrois harvested when it reached 19.4 brix, and Chardonnay harvested when it reached an average of 19 brix.

Serve at 16 degrees Celsius with poultry or seafood. This is another excellent sipping wine great for sharing with friends and family out on the patio or over a great meal.

A true blend of Chardonnay and Auxerrois. A wine of lingering fruit with a pronounced floral bouquet and clean crisp finish.

Serve at 16 degrees C.

Wine is a mood thing. When you pair the right mood with the right wine it’s harmony.

This review is personally interesting for me. I was not in a good mood when I opened this wine. I have had a terrible weekend that all started when I discovered that our basement had taken in water which was due to the sump pump float failure.

So here I am, Sunday afternoon taking a break from cleaning up the basement to try this wine.

This is the kind of wine that can put anyone in a good mood. It’s good …, no, even better, it is excellent!

Here are my notes on this wine.

Nose is not overwhelming but does offer some citrus.

Taste offers citrus, lemon at first, along with apple with a wonderful lime finish. It’s a medium bodied wine with great mouthfeel. Nice hit of sweetness and a good crisp acidity to boot.

This is one excellent summer time patio sipper that will put anyone in a good mood! Restaurants should consider adding this one to their wine list and suggest it with fish.

Chill this wine, it deserves it and you will be rewarded if you do.
