I don’t think I could have found a better day to open this bottle of wine as it is the first warm and sunny day of the season. Home from work and sitting on my back porch deck as I write this tasting review.
This is a nice backyard sipper, perfect for summer time or any easy going social event. No need to find a food match for this one. Serve and sip all on it’s own.
I had to dig a bit to find the nose. It’s there but its shy. I did pick up strawberry, and just a little bit of citrus
Taste offers strawberry, reminded me of those hard strawberry candies that are individually wrapped. Some good acidity to balance the sugar. Yes, it is a sweet wine.
Excellent value as it is well under $10. Simple and easy, sip and serve! Best served chilled.
