		<description>I have to be more generous than the previous reviews on the Baco blend. I&#039;ve been a longtime fan of Dennis&#039; other creations such as his Bird Dog and Barn Cat. Although I&#039;m not a particular fan of American politics and the chosen name there&#039;s something I like about this wine. I&#039;m a huge Baco fan but the &quot;secret&quot; white it is blended with did not turn me off at all. 

I found the blend turned the Baco colour I love almost into a brown leather. The nose is softer on the fruit and the taste puzzles me as it sips easier than a full Baco and finishes smooth and dry. I&#039;m sampling a glass as I write this and it tastes better with every sip. 

I don&#039;t like &quot;secrets&quot; either but I do like this wine.</description>

		<description>I agree with you. It isn&#039;t cup of tea or glass of wine. Probably made for americans who come to the winery, they will buy it as a novelty item I think.</description>

This is a blend of baco noir and some unknown white wine. I asked and was told the white wine was a &quot;&lt;em&gt;winemaker&#039;s secret&lt;/em&gt;&quot;. .... ??? Ummm, ok lets do a little private eye work. I have been told that Sanson Estate has only baco noir and vidal vines growing at their winery. They are too far inland for any other vines other than hybrids to survive or produce grapes to harvest. The winemaker&#039;s notes claim the wine is made from grapes grown at the winery. What&#039;s your guess? 

Not much I can say about this wine. If you like Sanson&#039;s Baco, this may disappoint you. For me this tasted like Baco gone bad. Best bet it to sample this wine at the winery. If you like it, buy some.
