D’Angelo Cabernet Franc 2007 Review
Winemaker’s Notes:
Aged in French oak, a very pleasant dry red. Great with barbequed foods.
(The follow notes are from the label, however it appears to be the 2005 Cab Franc Label with dates on lable changed to 2007)
An intense dry red and aged in oak barrels for eighteen months. This wine has good tannin structure and will develop in the cellar for three to five years.

This is one delicious and affordable lake Erie North Shore Cab Franc.
Very lively nose whaffing sweet berry, green pepper and oak.
Taste has excellent balance. Nothings stands out as too dominate, everything is just right from start to finish.
Moderate length in the finish. Very enjoyable, easy drinking red.
The bottle has a synthetic cork so don’t bother cellaring this one. Priced at $12 buy a few and drink them now.
Loved this one too. Has a nice oak taste that I like in a good cabernet. We bought only 2 of this wine and am now kicking myself for not buying more. I agree about the cork. I do not like the plastic type cork. They are harder to remove from the bottle. Are all wineries switching to this kind of cork?
