I don’t think Smith & Wilson Estate Winery makes anything but excellent wines and if they do I haven’t tasted it yet. This one is no exception.
This one has a nose that I love to sniff, I could spend a good amount of time enjoying the aromas that whaff from my glass after a good swirl. Loads of cherry and plums are noticed right away. After the wine had been sitting my my glass for a few minutes I noticed bell pepers, and spices on the nose.
Taste follows the nose, cherries, plums, bell peppers, spices and add in some toast oak for an excellent taste.
Tannins, not much in this one but should be noticed on the finish.
