Winemaker’s Notes:
Planted in 1999, Baco Noir is an intense wine with a slightly higher acidity and goes well with spicy foods. Aged in older oak barrels this wine is ready to drink now but will improve with several years of bottle aging

Francois Baco would be very proud of this one.
Noted in the taste: ripe red fruits and toasted oak. It’s very smooth, kind of silky with a nice long lasting finish.
Acidity is a little high but that is to be expected. Just pair this with pasta or a large “Salty Dog pizza” from Calbria in Cottam.
Baco Noir doesn’t get a lot of respect from the VQA system, try this one and I think you will agree with me that this hybrid should get more.
Hey, good choice. I like this wine, it’s really smooth. Nice fruit taste.
I agree, first taste of it seem to be more acidic, when it was air out a bit, the level of acidity seem to reduce a lot and a lot smoother. Complex fruit with hint of berry and oak with good finsih. Definitely recommended.
