One fanastic Pinot Noir.
I have said this before and will probably say it again. Pinot Noir is not my first choice in wines. It’s just not big or bold enough for my taste.
This Pinot Noir from Colio Estate Winery could convince me otherwise. It’s excellent.
Starting with the aromas, red cherry, anise and spices are noticed.
The tasting reveals flavours of cherry, earth, and oak. Nice smooth, silky tannins fill the mouth.
This is a medium bodied wine that is wonderful from start to finish.
Pinot Noir prices in the Lake Erie North Shore appelation are all over the map. This one settles in right around the middle. Well worth a $20 bill.
