Winemaker’s Notes:
VQA – A true rosé. Chambourcin, barely sweet. Terrific with food or on it’s own.

Rosé make a great summer time sipper. Unfortunately summer 2009 we haven’t really had many good summer days to enjoy these wines. Labour Day weekend is here, the weather seems to have finally started to act as if this is still summer so it’s time to try out this Rosé from Smith & Wilson Estate Winery.

Made from chambourcin this sipper is crisp and refreshing. It opens with a nice sweetness and has a bit of a tart finish.

This wine is worth a try. Make sure you chill it first.
