Visually this wine is a deep crimson color, just the way a Baco Noir should be.

The aromas of this wine are pleasantly rustic. I also noticed a nice raspberry jam aroma.

What I really like about this wine is that it is ready to drink right now as it already has a nice soft and smooth finish. Delicious, its incredibly drinkable.

I tried this wine chilled and again at room temperature. My preference is to drink Baco Noir closer to room temperature, I think it taste better.

Taste was dark ripe berries and a nice hint of vanilla.

BBQ season may be nearing and end but if you can fire up the grill and put on a few burgers this wine really pairs well with the BBQ.

2005 and 2007 were very years for Baco Noir in Ontario, if this Baco Noir is any indication of the 2008 Ontario vintages it looks like it will be another good one for Baco.

This one cost a little more than the 2007 Erie Shore Vineyard Baco Noir ($12.95) and there are other local Baco's priced a few dollars less that do compare. This one is still a treat and worth paying a few dollars more for the Baco Noir experience.
