Winemaker’s Notes:
Sprucewood Shores has produced a crisp Riesling, full of delicious green apple flavours. This semi-sweet wine fills your mouth with suppleness while finishes with a lingering fruit finish.
Pairs well with spicy foods, pork, and chicken.

This is the way a Riesling should taste! it is so delicious. Sprucewood has been making some exceelent white wines. This Riesling is one of their best.
Starting with the colour … it has a light yellow hint, very clean and clear.
The nose is very floral and fruity.
Taste …. smooth with a nice mouthfeel that makes it extremely enjoyable to sip on. Burst of apple, followed by honey to sweeten the finish. The taste stays around for quite a while.
This wine is an excellent sipper.
I say that the “Lake Erie North Shore” wine region makes some of the best Rieslings in Canada. If your tours of wineries brings you to this area this is one wine you MUST have on your list to buy.
