This area of Southwest Ontario makes so many good Vidal wines. Not just vidal ice wine which are also good. Vidal white wines are excellent in this area.
With so many good vidals in the area I love it when one just stands out as just a little bit better. Smith & Wilson’s Vidal 2008 is just that.
Best way to describe this one is to say it is wine candy. I have a sweet tooth, thiswine is a little sweeter than many other local vidals and i liked it that way.
It is a great summer time sipper. A nice citrus taste hits the palette which seems to last forever. There is a nice soft mouthfeel to this wine. It is easy to sip on.
