Smith & Wilson Estate Winery keeps on making excellent wines. One of their latest releases, a Sauvignon Blanc 2008 is just that. Excellent.
It has a nice bouquet of fresh cut grass along with hints of fresh citrus.
Taste is very crisp, vibrant acidity that will wake up your palette. It has wonderful citrus flavours. Finish is long.
It is an enjoyable wine, an excellent summer time sipper or to serve with chicken, or pasta with white sauces.
Priced at just $12 this is a steal. Worth buying a few at this price.
