Muscedere Vineyards Pinot Noir 2007 Review
Winemaker’s Notes:
A follow-up to our 2006 All-Canadian Wine Championship Best of Category Pinot Noir. This Pinot Noir promises to be even better. Again due to its finicky nature, we spent extra time in the vineyard to care for this delicate variety. We kept our yields low, only permitting one cluster per shoot, which allowed the grapes to mature to their maximum potential. This Pinot Noir is an elegant light-bodied red wine with a slight hint of oak and smooth finish. A wonderful partner with grilled pork and seafood dishes.

When I first sampled this wine back in early May of this year it was good but since it had just been bottled and I felt that the wine was going through some bottle shock so I decided to give it some time.
I opened a bottle of today and and am glad I waited. This Pinot Noir is so savoury in the palate. A hint of oak, cherry and plum fruits. It’s toasty, savoury, juicy and ready to drink.
Excellent paired with honey glazed ham or turkey.
I am so glad you selected this wine. A good Pinot Noir like this one is always a treat.
