Muscedere Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 Review
Winemaker’s Notes:
The first ever Cabernet Sauvignon from Muscedere Vineyards, this wine is an expressive full-bodied red wine with aromas of licorice and dark chocolate. It presents vivid flavours of blackberry, plum and oak with a smooth long finish. This food-friendly wine pairs beautifully with grilled meats.

This may be my favourite red wine from Muscedere’s Vineyards and that is not and easy task as I enjoy their 2007 Syrah and 2006 Mertiage.
The Mertiage just gets better each month as it sits in the bottle, and the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon will be the same way. It’s very good right now, and given time will be even better. If you can let this one sit until at least the fall and you will really be rewarded.
Price is a little steep at $30 and for that I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
Cab Sauv wine drinkers will really enjoy this one. It’s a full-bodied wine and will really be enjoyed with a nice beef dinner. Perfect with a big NY Strip Steak.
The wine has a deep, bold, dark purple colour. The nose has a wonderful bouquet of black fruits and oak. The wine gushes with fruit flavours when it hits the palette. Well balaced with and oak taste near the finish. I just enjoyed this wine.
