Excellent!

I don't believe a lot of the local wineries produce a Marechal Foch wine. Well they should.

Marechal Foch, pronounced "mar-esh-shall-fosh" or often referred to as "Foch" is a wonderful red wine. If you like Baco Noir you will should like Foch.

I really enjoyed D'Angelo's Old Vines Foch.

Pouring the wine into a glass I noted that it had a dark "inky" purple colour.

The nose had aromas of black fruits (black cherries) and oak. Very nice.

Taste was earthy, spicey, and oak. I was surprised at just how easy to drink on its own. Some big, dark reds really need to be paired with food. This was fine on its own. Probably would pair well with beef.

This is a well balanced wine. The finish was long and the best part of this wine.

Recomended. Will buy again.
