I really enjoyed this one.
Maybe it’s just me but for some reason Vidal’s don’t get the respect there deserve. Perhaps it is that I associate “Vidal” with ice wine and assume that it is going to be too sweet.
In any event, if you have been shying away fron vidal wines for this reason I suggest you try this one. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
The nose on this vidal is full of peaches and apricots.
Taste mirrored the nose along with some added citrus and floral hints. There is an nice green apple finish.
This is an easy drinking white wine. Perfect to sip on or enjoy at social gatherings. It’s would make a nice cocktail wine.
Priced at under $10 this one is a steal.
Side note: Look for Erie Shore Vidal 2007 to be released soon!
This is a great wine for those wine drinkers who like Chardonny and Pinot Grigo. They will like this one too.
