Aleksander winery seems to have a way of making smooth white wines. If you have tried their Chardonnay you will know exactly what I mean.

Like their Chardonnay, the Vidal is a smooth, full bodied wine. It's has a semi-sweet citus taste up front followed by a long pear finish.

Serve chilled to bring out the full fruit flavours of this vidal.

Wanda and I didn't follow the wine maker's suggestions for food pairing. Instead dinner was beef tips from "Applebee's To Go" This worked great, the wine and the beef tips complimented each other for a nice dinner.

Wanda and I compared notes on this vidal and both agree that it is another "Must Buy" from Aleksander Estate Winery. Serve it with dinner or chill it and sip on it by a fire. It's perfect for cocktail parties and wine and cheese parties.
