<description>If there is one wine from Pelee Island Winery that you must try, I believe that this is it. It&#039;s VQA Pelee Island which means that 100% of the grapes were grown on Pelee Island.

Some Pelee Island wines are not VQA and may be produced from 70% foreign grape juice and then sold under the &quot;Cellared In Canada&quot; label. This is NOT one of those wines.

The nose is full of wonderful dark fruit flavours. Blackcurrants and red cherries along with a nice smoky oak whaff are immediately noticed.

The taste is to die for. Wonderful. It begins with the same fruits as in the nose and ends with a nice oaky taste. Very well balanced.

At just under $20 this wine is worth the wonderful experience. One of Pelee Island Wineries best wines.

May only be available directly from the winery at their retail store. Buy it while you can.
