Winemaker’s Notes:
This rich-coloured Merlot wine has silky texture with current and chocolate highlights that linger on the palate. This excellent sipping win complements rich stews, pastas and beef.

The nose on this wine is mild and hard to find. It could be that it is a young red wine.
Very nice tasting wine however. Imagine crushing a couple of red cherries in your mouth. This best describes the taste of Pelee Island’s Merlot Reserve to me. Starts of with a sweet cherry taste followed quickly by the taste of black currents. Taste is short.
This is a nice sipping wine right now. I recommend holding off uncorking this wine for a year or so as I think it will only get better.
