Muscedere Vineyards Unoaked Chardonnay 2007 Review
Winemaker’s Notes:
Hand-harvested on a crisp autumn day, the result is an elegant Chardonnay with hints of pinneapple and green apple on the nose. The palate shows vibrant friut flavours with clean crisp finish.
It pairs well with pork and chicken dishes, as well as with grilled or poached fish.
Serve slightly chilled.
Hand-harvest: September 20th, 2007

Just a couple of words that come to mind when I tasted this wine. Smooth, mineraly, green apples, and a hint of oak. Yes I said oak. Even though this is an unoaked chardonnay there is a hint of oak which was very interesting.
It has a nice crisp acidity and a long finish.
We paired this wine with a chicken caesars salad which worked well.
This is a very good Chardonnay that with a production of only 50 cases will not last long. Get some while you can.
