It's not hard to tell when I wine is good in our house. Pour a glass of wine and hand it to Wanda and wait for her first reaction. With this one she said ... "Oh that's good" shortly after tasting this Sprucewood Shores Merlot.

This wine has a mild cherry fruit flavour with an oaky finish, just what I like. There is no strong flavour that over powers the other or stands out for that matter.

Tannins are at most a medium, and acidity is somewhere between mild and medium..

This is a red wine that just about anyone will find easy to drink an would work with just about any dish you serve.

The price of this wine is very reasonable. Buy it.
