Do yourself a favour and decant this wine before drinking it. You will be glad you did.
When I opened this bottle of wine I immediately took a sip. My first thought that this was a merlot with a little cab franc blended in. It was good but seemed to be missing that bold oak taste that I enjoy in my red wines.
Open it and let the wine sit for an hour or so. If you have a decanter this wine is screaming for you to pour it in there for a short period of time.
Allowing oxygen to mix with this wine in the decanter produced an amazing nose and taste. The cab franc comes forward in the blend.
This is a very nice blended red wine that is perfect for any dinner. Buy this one for your wine cellar.
