Smith & Wilson Baco Noir 2007 Review
Winemaker’s Notes:
2007 BUCKHORN (VQA) Baco Noir, dry
Very full-bodied inky plum. The nose suggests prunes, dark red berries and a hint of cloves. This bold, dark wine is a rich complex blend of blackberry and prune, followed by pepper and soft oak.
Team our Buckhorn with game meat, a grilled steak or a rich hearty stew. It is wonderful with a rich beef bourguignon, loaded with mushrooms and served with fresh crusty bread.

Get ready for a full bodied red wine when you open this one. The colour is deep purple, kind of plum like. The nose is smoky, peppers, and black berries. Swirling my glass and looking at the legs or tears indicated that this wine was a good one. Taste starts with black berries and has a oak long finish. Very nice.
For best pairings, match this wine up with beef. It’s a bold red wine, might not be for everyone. If you like big red’s, you will enjoy this one.
If irnfomaiton were soccer, this would be a goooooal!
