Winemaker’s Notes:
We proudlypresent our full body 2006 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay Reserve! Its well balanced structure begins with toasty yet full aromas. Essences of ripe pear and sweet vanilla satiate the palate with a long and lingering finish. Pair with creamy entrées, chicken or pork.

This is a delicious dry chardonnay that is ready to drink right now. There is nothing missing from this wine. The nose is a bouquet of fresh fruit such as green apple, pear, and peach. This follows through to the palate. This barrel fermented wine is a full bodied wine that is very easy to drink.

This wine would be perfect with a honey glazed ham or turkey. This wine is a candidate selection for our Christmas dinner this year.

This is one that you must pick up when you visit Mastronardi’s retail store located at their Estate Winery.

Absolutely one of my favourties! The nose on this wine explodes with buttery vanilla with nuances of apple. This is a very full body white wine with a great mouth feel. The finish on this wine is very long. I hope this wine is still available as I do agree this would make a great holiday wine.

UPDATED: This was our December 2009 “Wine of the Month” We opened a bottle of this wine during Christmas Dinner 2009. This wine just gets better each year. Try it with old white cheddar (6 year old cheddar) for an amazing pairing.
