The wine is made from Cabernet Franc grapes and thus the slight spice on the finish. I'm not a huge fan of blush wines but I enjoyed this wine with friends who are not big wine connoisseurs. The aroma on the wine fills your senses with summer fruit, the wine is definitely an easy sipper I can see myself enjoying this wine with a salad by my pool. Here is a nice summer patio wine. Both are made from the Cabernet Franc grape and both are very good sipping wines. I really should do a side by side comparison with the Summer Sun.
