Here is a nice summer patio wine. The wine is made from Cabernet Franc grapes and thus the slight spice on the finish. I'm not a huge fan of blush wines but I enjoyed this wine with friends who are not big wine connoisseurs. The aroma on the wine fills your senses with summer fruit, the wine is definitely an easy sipper I can see myself enjoying this wine with a salad by my pool.

This wine is very similair to Erie's Shore's Summer Sun. Both are made from the Cabernet Franc grape and both are very good sipping wines.

I really should do a side by side comparison with the Summer Sun. Mastronardi Cabernet Rosé 2007 seems to be a little be sweeter.

The nose is fruity, strawberries and green apples. Taste is much the same.

You won't need a hot sunny day to enjoy this wine. Put a log on the fire, or in my case, flip the switch to start the fireplace and try a glass on a cold winter evening and you will enjoy it.

Cheers!
