Winemaker’s notes:
This intriguing wine begins with an apple nose. Upon tasting, sour cherry flavours envelop the palate finishing with a refreshing orange zest. This is a great sipping wine and an interesting pairing with many different foods.
Price: 750 mL $12
This a non VQA wine. Merlot and Riesling wines were used to make this wine.

The CREW is known for the big bold red wines. This is not one of the CREW’s better wines.
The wine’s colour is a bit darker than a Rosé normally is. Red Sky At Night is a mix of Riesling white wine and Merlot red wine.
The nose (aroma) is very weak. There is a hint of apple.
The taste is nice, certainly not big or bold. Perhaps just a mild fruity taste at best. I am not sure what I would pair this wine with, as I think it is best served as a cocktail wine.
I agree with Gary, this winery produces great full bodied red wines. I was a bit confused with their attempt at this wine. Is it a rose or a wine cooler?? Don’t try to reinvent yourself, you have a great thing going!! I look forward to their 2007 reds
