This was one of those surprise finds for me. It was a wine that I ingored for some time. It wasn’t until I attended a wine and food pairing event at Colio Estate Winery did I discover what I had been missing.
I first tasted this wine when paired with parsnips and a potatoe with cheese but this wine is fine all on it’s own. Even if red wines are not for you I think you will like this one as the tannans that normally are found in big reds are not in this wine.
The taste is friuty, cheery like, sweet and so enjoyable.
