Picked up a bottle of this wine at the Roundhouse LCBO (nice to see the winery is taking this one the road) I would say this is a medium bodied Cabernet Franc, perfect balance on the oak. I like a mild Cab Franc as it is already so peppery and fruity. This is my choice for my Sunday Roast beef dinner. Here is yet one more good wine coming out of this new winery. It is one of my favourite Cabernet Franc wines from the Essex County region.This wine is perfect for a backyard BBQ where steak is on the menu. Compared to other red wines in the area this one was a bit pricey but still an excellent value. The wine itself has a nice dark red colour. The aroma I got from the wine was a smoking oak. I am going to buy this one again real soon. Gary I enjoyed this wine.
